Witness Security

According to www.usmarshals.gov, “The Witness Security Program provides for the security, safety and health of government witnesses and their authorized family members, whose lives are in danger …”. And “The U.S. Marshals Service has protected, relocated, and given new identities to more than 19,000 witnesses and their family members, since the program began in 1971.” Perhaps you’ve heard of it?
Also very important, is God’s witness security plan. Are you aware of it? The thief wants steal, kill, and destroy, but God has a counter plan:
7 Jesus therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, I am the sheep’s door. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. 10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who doesn’t own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them. 13 The hired hand flees because he is a hired hand, and doesn’t care for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own; 15 even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd. 17 Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father.” John 10:7-18
Our greatest dangers are sin, death, and judgment. Sin can be that of others, or our own. Our sin, if left not dealt with, results in our physical and spiritual death, judgment, and eternal punishment and suffering. God’s witness security plan provides security, safety and health. It cancels sin, protects, relocates, and gives new identities to those committed to God and His plan. It is sometimes called, “The Plan of Salvation”.
Central to the plan is the fact that Jesus takes upon Himself the sins of all who have or will repent of their sins and testify against Satan. By taking the death penalty for those who repent, Jesus satisfied justice, effectively canceling their sin. Jesus then took His life back, went back to Heaven, and pleads the case for those who did repent. Satan can’t win against them in court in Heaven. The verdict is pardon, thanks to Jesus. So, God protects them. This provides total security, safety and health forever. They are relocated, becoming citizens of Heaven. They are given new identities. They are now identified as being united with Jesus Christ, their Savior. They are given new names and perfect new eternal bodies.
Interested? Will you repent of your sins, be a witness against Satan, and testify in support of Jesus Christ and God? Do you want God’s eternal witness security?
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it. Revelation 2:17
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:44
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:20-21
14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:14-15
34 Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; 35 but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. 36 The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all— 37 you yourselves know what happened, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. 39 We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they also killed, hanging him on a tree. 40 God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.” Acts 10:34-43
9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” Romans 10:9-11
