Happy Birthday Jesus!

  How do you celebrate birthdays at your house?  I have included a birthday cake at times.  This was included at Christmas sometimes too.  Why? Because Christmas is the birthday of Jesus!

  We adults might tend to forget this.  When we forget, the children might not experience the connection or the full true meaning.  I’m not saying we all have to have a birthday cake for Jesus.  I’m just reminding us to be sure to remember and experience the connection.

  What are we celebrating?  Christ.  How do we greet?  Merry Christmas!  Why “Merry”?  Because we who have allowed Christ to wash away our sins really have something to be merry about!  That is the birth of our Savior, Christ!

  Maybe you’ve never allowed Christ into your heart?  Let Him in.  Let Christ wash away your sins too!  Merry Christmas!  May God Bless You!
