Good News Events

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace,
who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15

There is an extra surge of life coming into the hearts of those who love people and Jesus, to share the Good News and Hope of true life in Christ.  This is taking various wonderful forms, some of which are live Good News events, sometimes free to the public.  (You know they care when they pay for the event themselves.)  This is real truth, folks.

One such free event group is Hope Night Wisco, a Wisconsin group bringing hope to the people of Wisconsin.  Expect live music (contemporary Christian), messages of blunt truth but hope, inspired folks to confidentially share your burdens with, with hearts of compassion, encouragement, and willingness to pray.  I know, because I attended three of their free events, and highly recommend them!  (I still have the flyer from the last Hope Night Bloomer, Wisconsin on my office wall.)  The Speakers all have a deep burden to help.  I’ve had the opportunity to see some of them minister for myself and am convinced that they are authentic!  For more information and a schedule, visit hopenightwisco.com or similar sites near you. 

These events provide an opportunity to reset direction from bad to good as an individual.  But then the good reset can spread from you to your state, our nation, and beyond.  They also provide a way for folks to plug in to God and pray.  (And, Lord knows, we and our nation need all the prayer we can get!)  You may have heard it said, “It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”.  So, might you be able to go and bring someone to one of these Good News Events in your state?
